Gionee Launching Smart Watch on 14 September in India

• The company has tied up with Flipkart for the Gionee smart watch launch
• It is the first smartwatch in its segment to sport a stainless steel (Grade 316L) dial case

Gionee has announced the launch of its smart watch on Flipkart in India. Dubbed Life, Gionee is retailing it for a price of Rs 2,999 in the country. Gionee Life smart watch is the latest addition to Gionee’s G buddy portfolio of wearables and accessories.

The India operations of Gionee are a part of the Jaina Group. Jaina Group is also famous for Karbonn Mobiles in the country.

Collaboration with Flipkart

The compnay said that it has collaborated with Flipkart for this smart watch launch in the country. Gionee will be organising first sale of this smartwatch on 14 September 2019 on Flipkart’s e-commerce portal.

The smart watch features a steel frame design and offers up to 15 days of battery life. It combines a 3.3 cm (1.3) IPS full touch colour display with 2.5 D Corning Gorilla Glass and is waterproof with five ATM that is up-to 50 meters depth.
