Honor has launched the Magic Watch 2 and Band 5i in India. It has priced the MagicWatch 2 at Rs 11,999 for the agate black 42mm version and Rs 14,999 for sakura gold 42mm version. The 46mm charcoal black version comes at Rs 12,999 and the 46mm flax brown colour version will sell at Rs 14,999. The Band 5i fitness band is priced at Rs 1,999. Honor also launched the Sport Pro and Sport Bluetooth earphones. They are priced at Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 1,999 respectively.
Selling on Amazon
The company will sell the Band 5i in black, green and pink colours. The company will put the two products for sale on Amazon from 12 noon on 18th January for Amazon Prime members. It will be available from 19th January for non-Prime customers.
The 42mm version of the Magic Watch 2 comes with a 3.04 cm (1.2-inch) AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. The 46mm version features a 3.55 cm (1.4-inch) AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Both the variants are powered by Kirin A1 chip paired with 4GB of onboard storage. They are powered by 455mAh battery which gives up to 14 days of battery life says Honor.
The Honor MagicWatch 2 is equipped with HUAWEI TruSleep 2.0 technology. It can track and diagnose six common types of sleep disorders. It can also detect stress level with Huawei TruRelax technology. It can suggest breathing exercises to help its user to get some peace of mind. It also has Huawei TruSeen technology to keep track on the heart rate 24/7 and send an alert when it goes above or below normal levels.
15 goal-based fitness modes
It offers 5ATM water resistance. It can also perform underwater and record user’s heart rate and distance, speed and burned calories. The personal health data can be synced to smartphone where the Huawei Health app is installed. it supports supports 15 goal-based fitness modes including eight outdoor and seven indoor sports.
The watch also supports notifications push from SMS messages, emails, calendar. They will get displayed on the screen when the Honor MagicWatch 2 is connected to the phone.
Plug into a USB port and charge itself
The Honor Band 5i comes with a 2.43 cm (0.96-inch) touchscreen display with a capacitive home button for easy navigation. It can plug into a USB port and charge itself. Hence, it does not require an additional charger.
The fitness tracker comes with 5ATM water resistance rating. It has a 91mAh battery that can last up to nine days on a single charge as per Honor. It takes one and half hours to get fully charged. It pairs with phones running on Android 4.4 and above and iOS 9.0 or later builds.
Music playback controls
On the connectivity front, the tracker supports Bluetooth 4.2. It has sleep tracker, exercise tracker with 10 fitness modes and music playback controls. It can measure SpO2 levels and has TruSeen 3.5 heart rate monitoring. It has sensors like 6-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, infrared wearing detection sensor.
