Huami Launches Amazfit GTS Smartwatch in India under Rs 10,000

Huami has launched the Amazfit GTS smartwatch in India. The company will sell the newly launched smartwatch through online channel Amazon at a price of Rs 9,999 from 13th October. This smartwatch has already been launched in China in August.
Huami sells the watch at RMB 899 (approx Rs 9000) in China.

Huami says that the smartwatch comes with a 4.19 cm (1.65-inch) square AMOLED display with a resolution of 348 x 442 pixels, 341ppi pixel density and Corning gorilla glass 3 protection. The watch supports Android 5 and iOS 10 or higher. It has an aluminium body. Huami will sell the smartwatch in black and grey coloured case with six band options.

The smartwatch also comes equipped with 12-sport mode tracking along with sleep activity tracking. The watch comes with power biotracker PPG sensor, a barometer, ambient light sensor, a six-Axis accelerometer and three Axial geomagnetic sensors. Huami will sell the smartwatch in lava grey, steel blue, rose pink and other colours.

Huami also says that watch comes with a 220mAh battery which can last up to 14 days on default usage. The battery can last 25 hours on continuous GPS tracking and up to 46 days in basic watch mode. The watch comes with 5ATM (50m) water resistance and is ideal for swimming and light snorkelling claims Huami.

On the connectivity front, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, GPS and GLONASS. Huami claims that the watch weighs below 25 grams with a 2-pin POGO connector for charging.

Huami had recently launched Amazefit GTR 42mm in India at a price of Rs 9,999. It had a features 3.04 cm (1.2-inch) AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 390 x 390 pixels, 326 ppi pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
