According to a recent report by Mobile Indian, Xiaomi has launched its Mi Smart Watch in Beijing, China.
The new watch will be available in Silver and Elegant Black colors with rubber band priced at 1299 yuan (Rs 13,125 approx). The Premium Edition in Black color comes with a Stainless Steel band and a sapphire crystal screen. It is priced at 1999 yuan (Rs 20,200 approx).
Similar to Apple Watch
It comes with a bezel-less display, and a circular digital crown on the right that can be used to navigate through the watch UI. The left contains a single speaker and a microphone. At the bottom, there are pins for the charging dock and the heart rate monitor.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch is equipped with a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 326 PPI and always-on capabilities housed in a 44mm casing. The back of the watch is made out of ceramic.
The watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 and this uses four Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB eMMC. The wearable runs Wear OS with MIUI for Watch with support for Android and iOS. It also has Xiaomi’s own XiaoAI assistant and comes with over 40 apps, including call, mail, alarm, messages, and music.

The Mi Watch tracks steps, activities, heart rate and the device is also water-resistant for swimming. Sensors onboard include Accelerometer, Geomagnetic sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Barometer.
The watch has GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, and eSIM support to connect to the internet via cellular network as well as make and receive calls independently. It measures 44.69 x 36.92x 12.28mm and the weight is 44g.
