Micromax Launches Smartphone in the Below Rs 5,000 Segment


Redmi and Samsung are already retailing smartphones in the same segment from last few months

Micromax has announced the launch of iOne Notch smartphone in India. Price Rs 4,999 the Micormax iOne Notch will head straight into competition with the likes of Redmi Go and Samsung entry level smartphones in the country.

Powered by a Unisoc chipset

Micromax iOne Notch smartphone is powered by Unisoc’s SC9863 Octa-core chipset. This chipset comes mated to 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM.

Micormax iOne smartphone features

This latest smartphone from Micromax features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with a notch design at the top. The screen offers an aspect ratio of 19:9. It runs Android 9 Pie OS and is powered by a 2200 mAh battery.

Micromax has equipped the smartphone with a 5MP camera each on the rear and front. The company is retailing this smartphone for a price of Rs 4,999 in India.
