Realme 5s Goes on Sale For The First Time Today

Realme which launched the 5s smartphone in India last week has made it available for sale for the first time in the country on its online store and Flipkart from on 29th November from 12 noon. The phone comes comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB and the company will be selling it at Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively.

The company is offering no-cost EMIs and up to Rs. 7,000 benefits from Reliance Jio on company’s online store. It is also offering a 10 per cent cashback for HDFC Bank debit cardholders, five per cent cashback on Flipkart Axis bank credit card, five percent additional discount with Axis Bank buzz credit card on Flipkart. It will also give an equivalent discount on EMI purchase made with SBI credit card.

Snapdragon 665 SoC

Realme 5s comes with a 16.53 cm (6.51-inch) HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC and has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It has a quad rear camera set up at the back with 48MP primary sensor with Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera.

It runs Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and comes with a 5,000mAh battery. On the connectivity side, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port and dual-Sim. The phone measures 164.4mm x 75.6mm x 9.3mm and weighs 198 grams.
