Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20 smart phones in India after launching it in Philippines few weeks back. Samsung is selling the newly launched phones at a starting price of Rs 11,999 from fifth October. Samsung will sell the phones through Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera house, eCommerce portals as well as through retail outlets.
Samsung is selling the A20s in 3GB+32GB variant which is priced at Rs 11,999 and the 4GB+64GB which is priced at Rs13,999. Samsung will sell the phones in black, blue and green colours.
Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset
Samsung claims that the phone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 1560 × 720 pixels. The phone is equipped with an Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz.
Samsung says that this phone also comes with triple cameras at the back. It has a 13MP rear camera with F1.8 aperture, a 5MP depth camera and an 8MP Ultra-Wide lens. There is also an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front to click selfies and for video calling as claimed by Samsung.
Samsung India mobile business director, Aditya Babbar said, “Galaxy A20s has been developed keeping in mind the smartphone needs of the Gen Z consumer for a great display, superior triple camera and captivating design with a mirror-like finish.”
Face unlock
On the battery front,Samsung says that the phone comes with a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging and it runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back and also has the feature of face unlock. The phone weighs 183 grams and measures 163.3 x 77.5 x 8 mm
Babbar further adds, “People are increasingly using their smartphones to share live interactions – capturing spontaneous photos, streaming live videos and connecting over shared experiences that are happening right now.
