Korea-based technology and consumer electronics giant has announced the launch of Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M10s smartphones in India. The company has priced its latest Galaxy M10s at a price of Rs 8,999, while M30s have been announced at starting prices of Rs 13,999.
“Galaxy M, conceived from the ground up in India, has received unprecedented success, with millions of happy consumers, mostly young millennials. With Galaxy M, we are pushing the boundaries of innovations like never before. Galaxy M30s is a perfect embodiment of Samsung’s do what you can’t philosophy as it packs a 6000 mAh battery in a slim form factor, making it easy for consumers to go monster on a single charge. Coupled with its super-amoled display, 48MP camera, this monster will be the first choice of millennials this festive season,” Asim Warsi, senior vice president, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said.
Samsung, as per a report by IDC, registered 16.6 per cent YoY growth in 2Q19 fueled by newly launched Galaxy A series across low and mid-price segments. Galaxy A10 and A2 Core were among the top five models overall for the market. IDC’s report read,
“Samsung was also offering attractive channel schemes to clear the stocks of Galaxy J series. Galaxy M series saw price reductions which helped retain the 13.5 per cent market share in the online channel in 2Q19 for Samsung.”
Super amoled screen and 15W fast charging in under Rs 10,000
Samsung’s latest launched M10s smartphone has now become one of the most affordable ones to come equipped with super amoled screen display panel and 15W fast charging capabilities. It also features a 4000 mAh battery and a exynos processor.

Galaxy M30s comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ super amoled infinity U display. It sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP, and 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP live focus feature focus. The 16MP front camera comes with selfie focus and in-display flash.
