These latest Sony headphones will compete against noise-cancelling headphones offered by brands including the likes of JBL, Sennheiser, Bose and Audio Technica
Sony India has announced the launch of new headphones in India. Christened ‘WH-CH700N’, Sony is claiming that these latest wireless headphones feature noise-cancelling technology. The brand said that these headphones also feature ‘Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation (AINC) technology’ that adjusts performance by analysing the background.
Brand’s India website explains the headphones as, “The WH-CH700N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are made for long listening on the move. One Push Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancelling (AINC) adjusts to your environment, so you can eliminate unwanted noise as you travel.”
Sony India has priced its latest noise-cancelling headphones at Rs 12,990 in the country. These Sony headphones will be competing against noise-cancelling headphones offered by brands including the likes of JBL, Sennheiser, Bose and Audio Technica in the country.
Sony WH-CH700N headphones features
Sony WH-CH700N noise cancelling headphones come equipped with 40 mm drivers with a sensitivity of 97dB/mW. These enable a frequency response between 7Hz to 20000Hz and an impedance rating of 20 Ohms.
The brand has also equipped the headphones with a dedicated NC button. Sony says that users can activate noise cancellation, just by pressing this button. Sony has equipped these with ‘digital sound enhancement engine (DSEE)’ that helps improve the quality of compressed music files.
Users can give voice commands and make hands-free voice calls using an in-built mic. It comes with a built-in Li-ion battery that the brand claims delivers up to 35 hours of power. The battery can be charged using a USB. Sony says that the quick charging feature gives up to 60 minutes of play back in just 10 minutes of charge.
The WH-CH700N noise cancelling Sony headphones will be available at all Sony Centers and other major electronic retail stores in the country. Sony has priced these at Rs. 12,990 in India.
