Syska Group, a well known FMEG (Fast Moving Electronics Goods) brand, has expanded its presence in the smart home segment in India with the addition of two new innovative products.
The company, which entered the smart home segment recently, has unveiled two smart products, Syska Smart Plug with Power Meter and Syska Wi-Fi Spike Buster, that can convert simple/ regular devices into smart devices.
In a release, the company said that syska smart plug and spike buster can convert any connected regular product into a smart product. Besides, the products are aesthetically designed to give a home or office a complete makeover, it added.
Rs 25 crore investment plan
Syska Group is also planning to invest Rs 25 crore in Marketing and R&D in the upcoming year to build the smart home category in India, with an aim to enter two million homes in the next one year.
Recently, Syska inked a partnership with global IoT player, Tuya Smart, to bring about smart home capabilities in India. The company is aiming to generate revenue of Rs 200 crore in next financial year.
Smart home automation industry in India is booming, according to Gurumukh Uttamchandani, Director, Syska Group.
Noting that consumers are looking for products that make their life smart and convenient at the same time, Uttamchandani said that their innovative products, like Syska Smart Plug with Power Meter and Syska WiFi Spike Buster, will enable conversion of simple homes into smart homes.
Syska Smart Plug with Power Meter
With Syska Smart Plug, users can control any connected device through Syska Smart Home App. It comes with a timer feature that allows users to schedule the connected device via app.
The plug sends a notification on smartphone when the connected device gets overheated.
The power meter can monitor voltage consumption of any device connected with the Syska Smart Plug. All the data collected by the power meter can then be accessed via the Syska Smart Home App.
Syska Wi-Fi enabled Spike BusterSyska Wi-Fi Spike Buster
Syska Wi-Fi enabled Spike Buster is meant to protect sensitive electronic devices from short circuits, voltage spikes and overheating. Electronic devices plugged into this spike guard can be turned on and off with voice control or by using smartphone. The plug is also supported by Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
SYSKA Spike Buster has 3 Universal Power Sockets, 4 USB Charging Ports which can accommodate devices ranging from a Smartphone to a laptop. It also offers child safety protective shutter.
While the Surge and Spike Protection offer surge suppression or voltage spikes suppression preventing electronic devices from getting damaged, the Child Safety Protective Shutter is to protect young children from accidentally putting their fingers into the sockets.
Priced at Rs 2599 and Rs 4999 respectively, Syska Smart Plug and Syska Wi-Fi Spike Buster are now available on e-commerce portals Amazon and Flipkart.
