Apple Starts Selling iPad 2019 in India at a Starting Price of Rs 29,900

After launching the iPad 2019 along with the Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro last month, Apple has introduced the latest version of the iPad for sale in India. Apple has priced the Wifi only 32GB variant at 29,900 and the 128GB variant at Rs 37,900. The company will sell the Wifi plus cellular model with 32GB internal storage at Rs 40,900 and the 128GB version at Rs 48,900.

Apple will sell the latest iPad through online channels like Amazon and Flipkart and through Apple authorised sellers in India. Apple will be selling them in silver, grey and gold colour.

The 32GB iPad (2018) wifi version was priced at Rs. 28,000 and the 32GB iPad (2018) Wi-Fi + Cellular model was priced at Rs. 38,600

3.7x wider angle compared to a laptop

Apple says that the iPad comes with a 10.2-inch Retina display with 3.5 million pixels. It also has a 3.7x wider angle compared to a laptop claims Apple. It is powered by Apple A10 Fusion chipset according to the company.

The newly launched iPad runs on iPadOS and supports Apple pencil and a full-size smart keyboard. It also supports Apple’s smart connector. The OS on the iPad supports floating keyboard that will allow users one hand usage says Apple. The pencil with the iPad comes with swiping up feature which can take a screenshot.

10 hours of battery life

Apple claims that the latest iPad comes with 10 hours of battery life for web surfing, watching videos or listening to music. It also has stereo speakers. The iPad (2019) has a 1.2MP selfie camera for facetime and an 8-megapixel camera at the back. It also comes with Split view and the feature to switch between multiple apps using Slide Over option.
