Huawei Mediapad M5 lite ( pic credit-Flipkart)China based Huawei has launched MediaPad M5 Lite in India which comes with a children’s corner where parents can set limits for children’s usage and customise the content. Huawei has priced the MediaPad at Rs 20,990.
A spokesperson of Huawei India said, “With consumers at the core of all our innovations, Huawei’s MediaPad M5 lite is no different and endowed with the same ethos. Given its pioneering features, the product is set to cut across a number of consumer demography viz. college goers, working professionals, artists and even children. Moreover, highly acclaimed in other parts of the world, we are certain that our latest launch will be well accepted among the Indian audiences as well.” The company will sell the product through Flipkart the during big billion day sale.
Features of Mediapad M5
The MediaPad M5 Lite comes with a 10.1-inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The tablet is also equipped with a silver-gray metal M-Pen lite stylus. with 2,048 layers of pressure sensitivity according to the company. With the help of the stylus users can jot down notes or mark up an email. The pad comes with quad speakers co engineered with Harman Kardon. The Mediapad runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top.The company uses the Histen 5.0 audio enhancement technology which reduces the external noise power and improves the low-frequency sound effect according to Huawei.
The Children’s Corner that comes with this Pad has a parental control feature to limit the children’s usage and customize the content. Huawei is also offering 5 eye comfort modes to help protect a child’s eyesight. It is equipped with Optimal Distance Reminder which will provide reminders when the tablet is less than 25cm from the face and Posture Guidance which will provide reminder to children to not read the tablet when lying down. The tablet also has intelligent light adjustment, blue ray filter and usage time control according to Huawei. The MediaPad M5 Lite measures 243.4 x 162.2 x 7.7mm and weighs 475 grams.
