Huawei Rolls Out Offers For its First Tablet Launch in India

• Huawei had recently forayed into the tablets market in the country
• The company will start retailing its first tablet from 10 July 2019 here

Huawei after announcing its entry into the tablets market in India last week, has now announced promotional offers for its first tablet in the country. The China-based company, as a part of these promotional offers, is offering headphones worth Rs 2,998 free with every purchase of Mediapad T5 tablet. The buyers of Huawei’s first tablet in India, will also get a free cover with the purchase.

Interestingly, Huawei has been facing tough times after bans imposed in it by the US Government. The company, with its first tablet launch in India, will primarily be competing against the likes of Samsung and Lenovo. It is also to be noted here that despite the ban by US, Huawei’s Mediapad T5 is based on Google’s Android OS.

Samsung, a Korea based consumer electronics company, has recently launched several tablet models in the country. Dubbed Samsung Tab S5e, the company will start retailing this tablet during Q2 2019 in India.

10.1 inch high-definition screen display

The device boasts of a 10.1 inch high-definition screen display that enables a broader vision for wide-screen visual experience. In addition, the dual-speaker layout is located at the bottom of the Huawei logo side and equipped with virtual left and right channel sound output for a professional stereo sound effect. The high-quality power amplifier system brings louder and clearer sound with more flexible low-frequency, as well as reducing distortion. Huawei has announced that it will be retailing this tablet through Amazon’s e-commerce portal in India. The tablet market in India, probably on account of large screen smartphones, has been shrinking over last few years.
