Huawei Mediapad T5Huawei has started retailing Mediapad T5 tablet at a starting price of Rs 14,990 in India. Introduced in two variants, this is Huawei’s first go at the tablets market in the country.
Company’s official statement read, “The new Huawei MediaPad T5 which makes its debut in India market comes bundled with exciting offers and freebies. Exclusively available on Amazon, customer will get Huawei Earphone AM 12 Worth INR 2,998 and flip cover absolutely free with the purchase of new tablet.”
Interestingly, the China-based company is retailing its first tablet exclusively through Amazon’s e-commerce portal in the country. Huawei has still not announced whether it will be retailing Mediapad T5 through brick or mortar shops or not.
10.1-inch screen
The device boasts a 10.1 inch high-definition screen display. Alcatel has recently said that it was the second largest player in the 10-inch tablets market in India.
Huawei Mediapad T5 also features a eight-core high speed processor that is capable of running multiple apps. Huawe that the storage is expandable up to 256 GB through a microSD. Huawei’s official statement read, “Armed with the companies’ consumer centric DNA, the tablet is touted to be one of the most versatile premium devices in the market, offering both – a superior entertainment experience with a large display & Dual speakers as well as double as a powerful professional assistant with a 0cta-core processor and eye comfort mode.”
It continued, “With Children’s Corner pre-installed on the Huawei MediaPad T5, you can set limits to your child’s usage and customize the content available. Besides the parental control feature, Huawei MediaPad T5 offers enhanced eye-comfort modes for your kids’ eyesight health: Posture Guidance (provides reminder for your child don’t read the tablet when lying down), Blue Ray Filter and Usage Time Control.”
The China-based company is retailing Huawei MediaPad T5 in 2 variants – 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM priced at Rs 14,990 and Rs 16,990 respectively.
