Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy Tab S5e. The brand said that the new tab will be available for retail in select countries during Q2 2019.
“The Tab S5e is a top-tier tablet with a sleek design and powerful features, available at a new price point,” said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT and Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. He added, “For users who want intelligence that keeps them connected so they can get more done—as well as a big, beautiful screen for a rich, premium entertainment experience—the Tab S5e delivers.”

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features
Every component in the new Samsung tab, as per the brand, is housed inside a 5.5mm metal body. The tab and weighing 400g (.4Kg) and will be available in colors including Silver, Black, and Gold.
The 10.5-inch screen on the tab, as per the brand, is a super AMOLEDA one. It also features quad speakers. Samsung says that its 7040 mAh battery can last up to 14.5 hours, and it is based on the Android 9.0 software.
An official statement issued by the brand read, “As the first Samsung tablet to feature the new Bixby 2.02, the Tab S5e offers a smarter and more convenient way to interact with your device, and serves as an ideal hub to control your connected home devices.3 Switch on your TV and your lights at the same time with Quick Command, which allows you to customize several actions under one command—making voice control of your home environment even quicker, simpler and more tailored to you.”
