Consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S6 in India. Samsung will sell the tablet at a price of Rs 59,900 from 11th October through online channels like Flipkart, Amazon and Samsung Shop. Samsung will sell the Tab S6 in mountain gray and cloud blue colours.

Samsung is selling the keyboard cover at a price of Rs 5499 which has an original MRP of Rs 10,999. Samsung is also offering a six-month paid membership to YouTube Premium with the tablet.

S-Pen has a 0.35mAh power unit

The tablet comes with a new S-Pen that has a 0.35mAh power unit and has the capacity for running for 10 hours continuously. Samsung claims that the pen can be charged within ten minutes by keeping it inside the groove at the back of the tablet. The S-Pen comes with a Bluetooth remote and it can be used to convert handwritten notes into digital texts, exporting to MS Word and make quick notes or doodles while watching a video.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset

Samsung says that the Tab S6 comes with a 26.67 cm(10.5-inch) WQXGA Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The tablet comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640. It has a 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage can be expanded to up to 1TB through a micro SD card. The tablet also has an in-display fingerprint sensor in the front.

Samsung says that the tablet comes with a 7,040mAh battery with 15W fast charging and runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI 1.5. On the connectivity side, it has Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, a POGO pin and a USB-C port.

8MP camera for selfies and video calling

The tablet comes with a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel lens with f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view. At the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Samsung says that the Tab S6 comes with an improved version of Samsung DeX with a dedicated DeX function key on the keyboard book cover. It also has four speakers that are tuned by AKG with support for Dolby Atmos according to Samsung.
