Vivo’s new NEX 2 offers low-light photography, portrait mode with bokeh effect and much more to the mobile photographers. It is launched in the Chinese market and will arrive in India soon.

Vivo has launched the all-new NEX 2, an upgraded version of the previously launched Vivo NEX series, with a high-end dual display. It has a triple-camera setup with a 12-megapixel dual-pixel main camera, a night video camera and a time of flight (TOF) 3D camera.
Dual screens
Vivo NEX 2 has two AMOLED screens and both the screens can be used to access the functions of the smartphone. The front screen features a fingerprint scanner. The screen at the back allows the user to take selfies with the rear cameras while using the rear display as the reference screen. A user can switch between the screens by swiping right. The front and back screens are of 6.3 and 5.5 inches respectively.
Triple-camera setup
Vivo NEX 2 has compensated the absence of the front camera with three rear cameras. The phone allows for low-light photography and has a portrait mode with bokeh effects. The main sensor is of 12 MP f/1.8 with image stabilisation and dual-pixel autofocus. The second is of 2 MP f/1.8 and the third is a time of flight (TOF) one, which enables 3D mapping from the phone for facial recognition.
The new dual SIM smartphone runs on Android Pie, Version 9.0 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It has a 10 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The phone is launched in the Chinese market and will arrive in India soon.
