Neumann NDH 20 is best suited for applications that need high sound isolation such as sound engineering and monitoring
Neumann, the Berlin-based subsidiary of Sennheiser Electronic, announced the launch of its first Studio headphone in India – Neumann NDH 20, which is ideal for monitoring, mixing and editing tasks in loud environments.
A closed-back studio headphone, Neumann NDH 20 is equipped with 38-mm drivers having high-gauss neodymium magnets for low distortion and high sensitivity. This means that the latest headphone does not require any external headphone amplifier and can even work on mobile devices with ample volume.
The new studio headphone features a flexible spring steel headband having ear cup covers that are engineered using lightweight aluminium. The new product comes with large and soft memory foam ear pads that can be used for longer period without fatigue. In addition, the new device is foldable and is provided with two detachable cables – one is coiled, one is straight. It also comes with a 6.3 mm (1/4”) adapter.
Best-fit for mixing purposes
Commenting on the development, Vipin Pungalia, Director – Professional Segment, Sennheiser India, said, “NDH 20 has received a phenomenal response globally and we are expecting a similar response in India. The entry of Neumann in the headphone segment is great news for the Neumann patrons in the country.”
“The unsurpassed sound quality of NDH 20 makes it a best-fit for mixing purposes and it’s worth the investment. The NDH 20 is a dream come true: reliable studio-grade monitoring – even on the road,” he added.
Like the previously introduced studio monitors by the company, the new studio headphone provides a linear sound balance. The new device is best suited for applications that need high sound isolation such as sound engineering and monitoring. In addition, the headphone offers a frequency response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz.
The Neumann NDH 20 studio headphone is available on Sennheiser.com at Rs. 34,990.
