LG India’s Vice President Joins China’s Hisense Group

Rishi Tandon has joined China-based Hisense group as its chief operating officer in India. Rishi was previously working with LG India as its vice president.

Hi Sense group is China headquartered consumer electronics company. It retails consumer electronics in over 200 countries including India.

Was promoted to head LG’s home entertainment business in 2016

LG India had made Rishi Tandon head of its home entertainment business in 2016. Rishi was responsible for leading LED television and home theater sales back in time. Anuj Ayodhyawasi, who was leading this segment was made of LG’s refrigerator business in 2016. As a matter of fact, LG India had made many more changes in 2016 and Rishi was an critical part of the company.

Rishi had joined LG in 2003

Rishi Tandon started working with LG in 2003. He started working with LG as product head of the digital audio video segment. Rishi then led LG’s flat TV panel business in India from August 2007 to December 2011. He then was promoted to head LG India’s marketing and product planning for company’s consumer electronic’s range in January 2012.

Before joining Hi Sense as COO, Rishi was working with LG India as a vice president. He was promoted to this designation in March 2019.

Sony to LG

Before joining LG, Rishi was associated with Sony India as its product head in the audio video segment. He worked with Sony from November 1996 to April 2003.

Rishi has done his schooling from Delhi Public School and graduation from Commerce College. He also holds a masters of business administration in marketing and finance.
