Saket Chodhary, after working with Panasonic as an campaign manager for over two years, has called it quits and joined the Realme Mobiles India team. His Linkedin profile says that he has started working with Realme from August 2019.
Interestingly, Deepak Nakra, offline sales head Xiaomi had quit Xiaomi last month to join Realme as its offline sales head in India. It seems that Realme is aggressively building its offline expansion team in the country.
Saket developed branding plans for Panasonic
Saket, as per his Linkedin profile was responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for Panasonic in India. His job profile at Panasonic also included developing strategies for ATL, BTL and digital campaigns for the company.
He worked with Panasonic for two years and two months as a campaign manager before joining Realme this August. Prior to joining Panasonic, Salet was working as a senior marketing manager with ATL Media. His job profile at ATL media included managing of all offline and online media including television, radio, print, digital, cinema and any new media for Karbonn and Panasonic mobile ( Strategic tie up with Jain).
His experience working for two mobile brands in the past may have encouraged Realme to appoint him to its India team. Saket was associated with ATL media for four years and three months.
Saket has been in the marketing domain for over 10 years now. He started working as a media planner at Madison Communications in March 2008, worked there till November 2010. Saket was handling marketing for various brands while being associated with Madison Communications.
Saket has also worked with Maxus for four years and eight months. He joined Maxus as a business manager in November 2010 and was promoted to the designation of business group head in June 2013. Saket ahs worked for brands including Royal Stag, Fuel Vodka, Haier, Vatika Shampoo, Dabur Almond Hair Oil and more during his collaboration with Maxus.
