A report published by 9to5mac based on analysis by reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the company will launch the next version of the iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020.
The report says the new phone will be more affordable than the other Apple iPhone products. The report also says that the new phone will have an A13 processor with 3 GB RAM. Kuo also says that most of the new phone’s hardware specification will be like the iPhone 8. He also predicted that Apple will sell 30-40 million units in 2020.
Latest iPhone 11 series launched
Apple has recently launched its latest iPhone 11 series at the Steve Jobs Theatre in the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. The iPhone 11 has succeeded the iPhone XR. According to Apple, the phone comes with A13 Bionic chip which is its fastest chip so far. The phone is priced at Rs 64,990. Apple also launched iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Plus.
The Pro series come with triple camera system integrated into the iOS, the first of its kind from Apple. The iPhone 11 Pro starts at Rs 99,900 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,09,900.
Exact price not known
The report also said that Kuo could not give the exact price of the new phone that will be launched. The report also said that Kuo thinks that the main target for the iPhone SE will be the iPhone 6 owners. The report further siad that iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are not eligible for upgradation to iOS 13. Kuo says that that there can be a pressing demand for users of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus to upgrade to get the latest iOS features.
