One Plus Might Retail 8 Series with 5G Connectivity

• One Plus will launch 8 series in April 2020
• The company claiming that the phone will feature in the “Best Price”
• The product will feature Snapdragon 865

According to report, One Plus has claimed that all One Plus 8 devices will come with 5G connectivity. However, the company has not shared any details about the upcoming series in any official capacity, until now. In the report One Plus CEO Pete Lau said, “Going forward, we’re all in on 5G”, hinting that all One Plus smartphones will come with 5G starting from the One Plus 8 series.

“I want to restate our commitment to 5G and our long term investment.” He added, “We’ve been investing in 5G for several years and we see this as the direction going forward”, added Lau.

One Plus 8 series will come at the “Best Price”

One Plus has already launched two 5G smartphones in the market. The company launched its first 5G smartphone, the One Plus 7 Pro in the UK and US last year. Later, the company launched the second 5G smartphone, a special version of its One Plus 7T Pro McLaren edition. According to the sources, the company is gearing up to launch One Plus 8 lineup in April 2020.

Also, Lau added that One Plus always aims at making the best possible smartphone at the “Best Price”. The company claims that that 5G will likely increase the pricing of the upcoming smartphone and they will feature Snapdragon 865. One Plus also hinted at the presence of 5G connectivity on its rumored One Plus 8 Lite. However, Lau did not reveal any information regarding that or what the company will do in markets such as India.
