Blaupunkt Focuses on Low Cost Strategy, Unveils Bluetooth Earphone at Rs 1499

The wireless earphone comes with 150 mAh battery capacity and playtime of up to 10 hours.

Blaupunkt, which introduced its personal audio range of products in India in February 2019, is expanding its presence across categories and price points.

The German brand has now launched a new wireless (Bluetooth) neckband earphone at competitive pricing of INR 1499 for the Indian market.

Dubbed BE-50, the company’s latest wireless earphone comes with 150 mAh battery capacity and playtime of up to 10 hours. It boasts the latest call disconnect feature, a unique magnetic lock, qualcomm processor.

Andrzej Cebrat, Managing Director, Blaupunkt commented, “In a highly competitive market as ours, the product experience defines the future as compared to design In India.”

Envent is Blaupunkt’s India partner for audio products. Cebrat pointed out that the versatile features, advanced technology and low price make their earphones apt for millennials and Gen Z.

Blaupunkt’s Indian market strategy 

The brand’s initial offerings include wired earphones (EM10 and EM01), wireless pods (BTW01), Lightest BT Earphone (BE-01).

Earlier this month, the company launched its SBWL-02 (130 W) soundbar with Dolby Digital sound in India for Rs 9,990.

The soundbar is available on online and e-commerce platforms – Amazon and Flipkart and brick and mortar stores like at Croma and Vijay Sales.

Focusing on the price conscious nature of the Indian consumers, the brand’s wired earphones EM01 and EM10 were also launched at competitive pricing of INR 499 and INR 699.
