Daikin’s India MD and CEO, Kanwaljeet Jawa, inaugurated company’s first ever full line solution plaza in Dwarka recently. Located in Rajapuri market, this plaza will be operated under the guidance of Pardeep Kumar. Pradeep is also the owner of this plaza.
The air conditioning company is showcasing its full range of products here. Daikin’s statement on a popular social media website read, “Daikin India recently opened its first Full Line Solution Plaza in Dwarka, New Delhi. It was inaugurated by Kanwaljeet Jawa, Daikin India MD & CEO, in the presence of Mr. Pradeep Kumar, owner of the plaza. Come and experience a full range of Daikin products at K-1/20 B, Rajapuri Market, opposite Sector 5, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110059.”
Interestingly, Mitsubishi Electric, a competitor of the the Daikin ACs in India, has also been opening experience stores in various parts of the country lately. Mitsubishi Electric has recently opened one in Delhi’s neighboring city Gurgaon.

Focus on tier II and tier III markets
Kanwaljeet Jawa had recently told India;s leading daily Hindustan Times that the company was gearing up for driving agressive growth in the tier 2 and tier 3 markets. It is to be noted here that a lot of air conditioning companies have set their eyes on the tier 2 and tier 3 markets.
Rising temperatures and rise in disposable incomes is seen as some of the contributing factors towards increased momentum in the AC market in India. Daikin, apart from its several experience zones in New Delhi, also has a netwrok of these in other Indian states as well. Daikin India website shows that the company is present in 26 Indian states.
Daikin has more than 40 AC colsution plazas in India’s national capital region alone. Out of Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida, the most of these are located in Delhi.
