Fujifilm India has announced a strategic partnership for its Instax range of instant cameras with Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt. The association with Bollywood’s Alia Bhatt, as per the company, is aimed at further enhancing Instax’s awareness among customers.
Haruto Iwata, MD, Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are very excited and optimistic to embark on this partnership with Alia Bhatt. She is an iconic symbol of the Indian entertainment industry and popularly known amongst the youth for her uniqueness and charm which perfectly blends with our brand. She embodies what Fujifilm Instax is all about – young, fun and ‘kawaii’ (cute in Japanese). With this association, we look forward to doubling our sales and scaling newer heights in the imaging space.”
Interestingly, Fujifilm had recently announced its partnership with a professional Indian photographer as well. The company, as its next step, is planning promotional campaigns for Instax as well as medium format GFX range of mirrorless cameras.
Daboo Ratnani as ambassador for GFX mirror-less cameras

The company within a months time have collaborated with two big personalities to promote its range of camera’s in India. Before announcing a collaboration with Alia Bhatt, Fujifilm had announced its partnership with professional photographer Daboo Ratnani. It is to be noted here that Daboo Ratnani is now the brand ambassador medium format GFX range mirror-less cameras in the country.
“Sometimes you just want to preserve a memory in print but it isn’t always easy. Which is why the Fujifilm Instax cameras are so amazing. It’s almost like a portable photo studio. No matter where you are, with the Instax you can capture happy moments and print them instantly,” Alia Bhatt commented.
Alia has a fan following of around 60 million across different social media handles. Fujifilm’s official statement said that She perfectly complements the brand attributes of Fujifilm Instax cameras.
