Infinix India has announced that it will extend the warranty policy on its smartphones for the next two months due to the Coronavirus lockdown. It said that the extension dates for the warranty policies will be applicable to models that fall under ‘Out of Warranty’ period from 20th March 2020 till 31st May 2020.
Infinix India tweeted, “Dear consumers, we have got you covered during the lockdown. We have extended the warranty by 2 months on all Infinix Smartphones whose warranty expires between 20th March – 31st May 2020. Stay safe! For more info contact Carlcare.”

It said that users can go to the Carlcare app on their Infinix devices to check the status of their warranty. Carlcare is also troubleshooting customer queries on their social handles.
Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India, said that for the customers’ convenience and in line with the company’s customer-centric values, the company has decided to extend the warranty on the devices by two months falling within and beyond the lockdown period. He added that the company respects the government’s stand on the coronavirus pandemic and believes it is the duty of the company to protect its users’ interests.
