Infinix Makes Band 5 Available On Sale

Infinix which had launched the fitness band Infinix Band 5 in India recently has put the product on sale from midnight of second December. The company is selling the band on online channel Flipkart at a price of Rs 1,799 in black, blue and red colours.

The band comes with an IPS display with a2.43 cm (0.96-inch) screen. It has IP67 certification which makes it waterproof as per Infinix. It is equipped with notification alert, continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, sport modes. It also has features like one button to reject incoming calls, time display, step count, calories count and alarm reminder.

According to the latest forecast from Gartner, worldwide end-user spending on wearable devices will total $52 billion in 2020, an increase of 27 per cent from 2019. In 2019, worldwide wearable devices end-user spending is on pace to reach $41 billion. End users, as per Gartner will spend the most on smartwatches and smart clothing with spending growing 34 per cent and 52 per cent in 2020, respectively.

The device also has a 24×7 heart rate monitor that can continuously track the user’s heart rate. The band starts vibrating if the rate crosses a predefined threshold determined as per the wearer’s body type. As per the company, the device has a battery life of seven days. It can be charged using any power adaptor by removing the strap. The user has to download the Infinix Life2.0 app to connect Infinix Band 5 with a smartphone.
