The company said that it will be retailing Roomba 980 vacuum cleaner at a discounted price of Rs 59,900 for a limited time in India
Pulak Satish Kumar, spokesperson, Puresight Systems, said, “The Roomba 980 has received an overwhelming response from customers, and this offer gives us an opportunity to make it available to a wider audience. During the offer period, customers will get a discount of Rs. 12,000 on the purchase of this device.”
The company had launched offers during the previous Diwali season in India as well. It was offering Amazon Echo Dot devices free with every purchase of Roomba 980 vacuum cleaners in the country.
Roomba 980 Vacuum Cleaner Features
iRobot Roomba 980 vacuum cleaner, as per the company, weighs 4 Kg and is equipped with a 0.6 L bin. It uses a Hepa-style filter for cleaning. iRobot has been equipped it with a lithium-ion battery that takes up to 3 hours to charge completely.
The company says that Roomba 980 vacuum cleaner can be operated from remote locations with use of iRobot home app. It can clean a home for a maximum of 2 hours continuously. The company claims that Roomba 980 vacuum cleaner automatically returns to its charging port whenever required.
iRobot’s website defines Roomba 980’s carpet cleaning feature as, “The AeroForce Cleaning System with carpet boost provides up to 10x the air power by automatically increasing the performance of the Gen 3 motor on carpet and rugs, where dust and dirt hide.”
Kumar added, “Powered by the iAdapt 2.0 Responsive Navigation Technology and equipped with iRobot’s patented Dirt Detection sensors, the Roomba 980 is a revolutionary cleaning device that can turn the tedious task of cleaning houses into a cakewalk.
