Itel Mobile and Tecno Mobile have announced that they have extended the warranty on their range of smartphones due to the Coronavirus lockdown. They have extended the warranty on the smartphones by two months.

The two companies said that the extension will be applicable for the models whose warranty expires between 20th March to 31st May. The warranty extension will be automatically applied and the users can check the status by logging on to the CarlCare Mobile Application.
Many other smartphone companies have done the same due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Oppo said that it will extend the warranty of smartphones that expired on 23rd March. Realme said that it has extended the warranty on all its products till 31st May. It is offering a warranty for those products whose warranty expires between 20th March 2020 to 30th April 2020.
Huawei has also announced that it is extending the warranty on Huawei and Honor products due to the Coronavirus lockdown. This extension will work on smartphones, smartwatches, headsets, chargers. OnePlus will also extend the warranty on its smartphones and accessories. Warranty will be extended to 31st May if it expired between 1st March and 30th May.
