Offline Expansion: Detel to Retail Products Via Hotspot Stores

  • Detel is already retailing products via Spencer’s, Walmart, Reliance Market and other stores
  • The company also plans to open 100 brand shops this year

Consumer Electronics brand Detel has announced its collaboration with Hotspot chain of stores in India. The Gurugram brand will sell its range of connected essentials and home theatres through this tie-up.

Detel’s expansion in the offline channel

The company has been aggressively expanding in the offline trade channel since 2019. Detel, apart from this recent collaboration, has also collaborated with Spencer’s, Walmart, Reliance Market, Max Spar, Metro Cash & Carry and more stores. The company also plans to open 100 brand shops this year.

With the plan to expand its offline presence, Detel has been taking the conventional and unconventional route. Right from tapping communities like Dabbawala, to opening its exclusive stores and now by associating with the giant retail brand like Hotspot, Detel aims at making its products easily available across nooks & corners of the country. The objective, as per the company, is to strengthen its foothold across metros as well as in Tier 1 cities in order to build a connection with its audience.
