Oppo has reduced the price of A9 2020 smartphones in India. The price of the base 4GB RAM variant has been reduced to Rs 14,990 while the 8GB RAM option will be sold at Rs 17, 490. The smartphone was launched before at a starting price of Rs. 16,990. It had received a price cut in October and was priced at Rs 15,990. Oppo will make the phone available through online channels and offline stores.
Quad rear camera setup
The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It has a waterdrop-style display notch and comes with quad rear camera setup. It includes a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor, 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1 on top. It is upgradeable to Android 10 with ColorOS 7. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. The phone is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
