Oppo Will Offer Users ColorOs Trial from 25th October

Oppo has upgraded the ColorOS limited public trial version based on Android 10 with the Reno phone receiving the first upgrade. Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 2 will be upgrading to ColorOS within this year. The company said the pre-release trial version of the new update will cover India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand and will be available to limited people. It will open the application for the upgrade from 25th October.

Full Screen gestures

Oppo says the new ColorOS version comes in dark mode that will be easy on the user’s eyes and the battery. The User Interface has an automatic brightness control system, enabling Dark Mode to adapt to bright outdoor glare and low light claims Oppo. The user interface also allows coverage on third-party applications and can be switched on within the settings section.The company has also updated to Full Screen gestures. This update will let users experience more convenient full-screen gesturing as per Oppo.

Android 10 Digital Wellbeing

The new update also comes with three gestures for smooth navigation says Oppo. An official statement from Oppo reads, “A quick swipe up from the bottom of the phone screen will take you back to the home screen. To view all open apps, users can swipe up from the bottom of the screen then pause about a third the way up the screen.”

Oppo says the new update comes equipped with Android 10 Digital Wellbeing that will let users keep track of how frequently they check their phone and use certain apps. It also has a Wind Down feature which will remind users to switch off at night by setting a bedtime schedule. The ColorOs will also provide information when an app seeks to access contacts, call records, messages and scheduling claims Oppo.
