Realme Now has 20,000 Retail Partners in India

Realme has recently said that it is looking to expand its offline sales channel to 150 cities in the year 2019. It had also stated that it was present in 10 cities across the country in January 2019. Now, the company, has made official its tie-up with Bajaj Electronics. It is to be noted here that Bajaj Electronics is one among the leading retail chains in South India.

Realme’s official statement read, “Currently, the young brand has a presence in more than 35 cities across more than 3000 stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Surat, Ludhiana, and Chandigarh to name a few and is expanding footprints to meet the rapidly growing customer demands.”

Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India said, “Realme as a young brand is committed to delivering the best consumer experience to our customers. In Tamil Nadu, we already have 15 service centers to make sure customer satisfaction.”

Online to offline strategy

Realme has initially started its operations as an online exclusive brand in India. Several research firms have said that Realme is one of the fasted growing smartphone brand in the country. According to Counterpoint Research, Realme was number three in overall market share during Diwali, and specifically number two in online sales. Realme also ranked number fur position in Q4 2018, as per International Data Corporation (IDC).

It is quite obvious that the BBK owned smartphone brand is now looking to foray into the offline channel as well. Samsung, currently enjoys one of the strongest offline sales networks in the country.

Realme’s official statement read, “Strengthening our commitment, we are expanding our footprints to meet the rapidly growing customer demands. With the new offline store, we are extending our sales channels reaching out to our offline customers in every region. This is the extension of our sales strategy and the ultimate target of ‘realme for Every Indian.”

The company had recently inaugurated its first exclusive service centre (ESC) in New Delhi as well. Realme also has plans to reach top 25 strategic locations wherein the potential for walk-in customers are high and will establish 25 ESCs by end of 2019.
