Realme will put the Realme Band for sale for the first time in India on ninth March. The company has priced the band at a starting price of Rs 1,499 and will put it up for sale on Amazon, the company website and offline retail channels.
The Realme Band comes with a 2.43 cm (0.96-inch) TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 160 x 80 pixels. It offers support for 16-bit colours and single point mutual capacitance. Realme claimed that the band has comes with a 4MB Nordic nRF52832 flash memory and packs a three-axis accelerometer. It does not have a gyroscope but has a HX3600 heart rate sensor. It supports 24-hour real-time heart rate monitoring and resting heart rate.
USB direct charge
The band can be paired with a smartphone using the Realme Link app and allows users to enable automated heart rate measurement. The band comes with USB direct charge where the user does not have to carry a cable to charge it and can plug it directly into a USB port for charging. It is backed by a 90mAh battery which has a charging time of around two hours and the company claims that it lasts from six to nine days.
If the heart rate function is enabled, the band lasts up to six days as per the company. It includes activities like yoga, running, walking, hiking, climbing, cycling and spinning. The band is IP68 water and dust resistant and supports Bluetooth 4.2. It doe snot come with NFC and GPS and can be paired with smartphones running Android 4.4 or higher.
