Samsung Electronics and top fashion brand Thom Browne hosted an exclusive event in New York. This event showcased their Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition collaboration to top New York media, celebrities and influencers for Fashion Week.
“Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition was created for those who are not afraid to make a statement—and who want their technology to be as iconic as their wardrobe. It features distinctive Thom Browne signature brand colors on a pebble grey exterior, pulled right from the runway, and offering all of the same innovative features as Galaxy Z Flip. To complete the look, the special edition device also comes with custom designed Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Watch Active2,” read Samsung’s official statement.

Samsung to sell Thom Browne Galaxy Z Flip edition smartphones in select markets
The duo also created a Thom Browne Edition of the Galaxy Z Flip folding smartphone. Samsung informed that it will be retailing a limited quantity of Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition devices in select markets.
The company has started booking pre-orders for the device from 14 February 2020 on Samsung website and Thombrowne website, as well as at NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER. The official launch will be in March.
Samsung Z Flip is company’s second foldable smartphone
Samsung Z Flip is company’s second foldable smartphone available commercially. The Korea-based consumer electronics giant is already retailing Samsung Galaxy Fold in many markets.

The global foldable phones market, as per a report by Intrado, is expected to witness a CAGR of 24.6 per cent from 2019 to 2025. Advent of nascent technology attracting the target demographic is expected to drive the market growth over the forecast period. Moreover, advantages over existing technologies in the market will propel the market growth in the coming years.
