- Kodak will be retailing HD LED TVs at starting prices of Rs 9,999
After partnering with Flipkart last month, SPPL has announced that it will be retailing its TV range at discounted prices on Amazon India’s e-commerce portal. This sale will begin on 7 August 2019 and will continue till 11 August 2019.
Avneet Singh Marwah, Director and CEO of Super Plastronics, a Kodak brand licensee, said, “We are happy that our brand has received support from its customer in a span of three years and we are hoping to perform exceptionally well during this festive season. We will keep surprising our customers with such sales on Amazon as we give our customer top priority.”
It is to be noted here that SPPL is the brand license owner for both Kodak and Thomson TVs in India. The company had partnered with Flipkart last month.
15 per cent increase in sales?
The company last month had announced that it was expecting a bump of 15 per cent in its TVs sales in India. Avneet Singh Marwah, had said, “There will be an increase in the sales by 15 per cent as we are offering our customers amazing deals and discounts while purchasing them from the Flipkart.”
The company apart from selling most of its TV variants had also retailed its 55-inch LED HD 4K TV at a price tag of Rs 32,999 during the Flipkart sale. Kodak’s smallest TV offering, 22-inch Full HD LED TV, was offered at a price of Rs 6,499 during the Flipkart sales day.
SPPL’s official statement read, “Kodak HD LED TV, being the leading brand in TVs, has a lot in store in this season. Some of the exciting offers are Kodak 43-inch 4K UHD and Kodak 50-inch 4K UHD TVs which are available at attractive prices of Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 27,999 respectively. The brand is also offering huge discounts on its HD and FHD series as well.”
It continued, “In the year 2019, Kodak HD LED TV has launched Kodak XPRO series with Kodak 32FHDXPRO, Kodak 40 FHDXPRO, Kodak 43FHDXPRO and 50FHDXPRO TVs, other than these Kodak HD LED TV has also launched Kodak 43UHDX Smart TV.”
