Poco F1( Pic Credit-Flipkart)Xiaomi has joined hands with e-commerce biggie Flipkart to offer discount on number of Xiaomi phones in the ongoing Flipkart big billion days sale before the festive season. Xiaomi is offering the Xiaomi Poco F1 at Rs 13,999 whose base variant price is Rs 21,999.
Xiaomi’s Manu Kumar Jain tweeted recently, “Diwali With Mi: Offline superstar brings two sensational news. Play Diwali gold rush on Mi website and win coupons worth Rs two crore (use it during sale). Get our dhamakedaar deals in offline soon.”
Xiaomi is a top smartphone brand in India
Xiaomi, as per a report by IDC, is among the top smartphone’s brands in the country. IDC’s report read, “Xiaomi saw its shipment volume grow by 4.8 per cent YoY in 2Q19 with Redmi 6A and Redmi Note 7 Pro as the highest shipped models in the overall market.
It continued, “Xiaomi also maintained its dominance in the online channel with a market share of 46.5 per cent, along with growing footprint in the offline channel which accounted for 39.5 per cent of Xiaomi shipments in 2Q19.
Banks to offer more discounts
Beyond these discounts, Flipkart will offer additional 10 percent discount to customers. These discounts will be available if the purchase is made with Axis bank-issued credit or debit cards or ICICI bank-issued credit cards. After applying the bank related discounts, the price will further fall by Rs1500. So, finally Xiaomi is offering the phone for Rs13999. Buyers can also get the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant for Rs 14,399 down from Rs 24,999 retail price.
Samsung and Sony have also announced festive offer deals in India. Last year, sales of consumer electronics had created a record on the online channel. As a matter of fact, smartphones along with other consumer electronics were among the largest selling categories via the offline channel.
