Moving over the race for foldable smartphones, LG Electronics is all set to reveal a smartphone with an option for second screen attachment. The CNET reported that LG’s second screen attachment smartphone will make its debut among several others at the 2019 Mobile World Congress.
The 2019 Mobile World Congress is scheduled to be held next month in Barcelona, Spain. It is considered the Mecca for Smartphone makers, as the global giants generally unveil their innovations, technology and upcoming smartphones during the same event.
Name not clear
It is not clear whether LG will be using the name of its flagship smartphone series to unveil the product or not. Additionally, whether this would just be a introduction or will be launched commercially is not clear as well.
CNET report said, “It’s unclear how the gimmick will work, but it’s certainly different at a time when the company could use different.”
LG, unlike its rivals in the smartphone space like Samsung, has not been able to capture a commendable market share. Though like Samsung and Huawei, it is present in most of the international markets, but the demand for its smartphones has been low in the recent times.
