- Nokia’s Product officer Juho Sarvikas shared the road map of the product on Twitter
- Sources informed that some models have already been updated to Android 10

The HMD Global (the Nokia website) has announced a change in schedule for the roll-out of Android 10 update for some of their phones due to the Coronavirus outbreak. According to the sources, the new schedule shows that the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 Pure View, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus have already been updated to Android 10.
The announcement was shared by HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas on his official twitter account, along with an image of the new road map, which shows that a chunk of Nokia smartphones will receive the update in the second quarter of 2020. He further said “the company still aims to be the fastest brand to update its whole portfolio to Android 10.”

Android 10 update will vary from region to region
The new road map also said that the exact Android 10 roll-out date for Nokia phones may vary from region to region, pertaining to operator approvals and local variances. However, as per the old schedule Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 4.2 were to get the update in Q1 2020. The Android 10 road map reveals that only the Nokia 2.2 will be updated this quarter and other phones will get Android 10 within Q2 2020 now.
In Mid Q2 2020, Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 1 Plus will receive the update while in late Q2 2020, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 1 will be updated to android 10.
