Realme will be launching the Realme smartwatch in India soon. Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth, showed the first look of the smartwatch in a youtube video. He said, “Realme smartwatch will be launched in India very soon.”
The watch has a square-shaped dial and a black strap. Sheth did not give any details about the smartwatch and its price.
The company had launched the Realme Band in India for Rs 1,499. The fitness band comes with a 2.4cm (0.96 inch) colour TFT display with 80×160 pixels resolution. It has a touch-button through which the user can navigate through different features. It also has a built-in PPG optical heart rate sensor that measures heart rate every five minutes. The fitness band also comes with USB direct charge. With this feature, one can directly plug in a USB port without any charging cable.
Narzo smartphones postponed
Realme PaySa had recently collaborated with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and HDFC for a UPI Hackathon. These lending organisations, as per the brand, will judge the most promising UPI solution in a finale to be held in Mumbai on 11 May 2020. Recent developments point out that the China-based brand might launch UPI payment services in India before the end of this year.
Just yesterday, Realme said that it has postponed the launch of the Narzo smartphones in India due to the coronavirus pandemic. The company has decided to suspend all upcoming launches as well.
Realme India chief Madhav Sheth tweeted, “With respect to the announcement made by our Honourable Prime Minister yesterday, we have decided to suspend all upcoming launches including #realmeNarzo series. Time for us to focus on our family & ourselves. Stay at home, stay safe & cooperate with local authorities.”
