Vivo Will Announce Apex 2020 Concept Phone on 28th February

Vivo has announced that it will introduce its Apex 2020 concept phone on 28th February in Beijing. The company had scheduled to announce its Apex 2020 concept phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020. The event got cancelled due to Coronavirus outbreak.

Vivo has put out a teaser on Weibo that shows a curved screen side. It also shows the number 120 which may indicate a 120Hz refresh rate. Another image shows that the back of the phone with periscope zoom camera for loss-less zoom.

Magnetic port in Apex 2019

Nothing more is known of the Vivo Apex 2020 as of now. It was a nearly bezel-less smartphone with a motorized pop-up selfie camera. Vivo Apex 2019 was announced at the Mobile World Congress. It comes with a super unibody curved glass design with a 16.23 cm (6.39-inch) AMOLED display. It did not have a USB port but used a magnetic port that connected to the bottom part of the back cover for charging and data transfer. The phone replaced physical buttons with pressure-sensitive power and volume buttons. It used screen-sound technology.
