- This fake website is offering solutions, channel as well as service partner programs
A fake website by the name of RealmePartner is offering Realme franchise stores in India. Put up on the web recently, this website specifically mentions of BBK Group and franchise options in the service, channel and solution areas. However, Realme’s official Twitter handle has posted that the company has no relations to this website.
“Disclaimer: The website (http://realmepartner.in) is not in any way related to or endorsed by Realme. Please be aware that http://realme.com is the one and only official website of realme brand. Stay real, stay safe,” read one of the tweets made by Realme.

Realme’s growth in India
Realme, as per a Counterpoint Research Report, from grabbing three per cent market share in CY 2018, jumped to 10 per cent market share in CY 2019. The report indicated that Realme registered 255 per cent growth year-on-year basis.
“Realme grew 255 per cent in India in 2019. The growth of realme was driven by an aggressive go-to-market strategy that involved launching several industry-first features with a strong design language. This is resonating well among young consumers seeking value-for-money devices. In the fourth quarter of 2019 realme also made an entry into the premium segment for the first time with its X2 Pro device, which started sales strongly,” read Counterpoint’s report.
Expanding in the offline channel
The company has been expanding in the offline channel since 2019. The brand, last year, had said that it is presence in more than 35 cities across more than 3000 stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Surat, Ludhiana, and Chandigarh and is expanding footprints to meet the rapidly growing customer demands.
Realme had last year inaugurated its first exclusive service centre (ESC) in New Delhi as well. Realme also has plans to reach top 25 strategic locations wherein the potential for walk-in customers are high and will establish 25 ESCs by end of 2019.
