According to a report by JP Morgan, the launch of Apple TV+, coupled with Apple Inc’s foray into digital services, could help the company increase its income from advertising by more than fivefold to $11 billion annually by 2025.

Analyst Samik Chatterjee told ET that the company could leverage the millions of users who search its App Store and Safari browser daily to generate the stellar growth seen by Facebook and Google in recent years.

He further stated that the company has the potential to raise revenue by a third every year, from an estimated $2 billion currently to $11 billion in 2025. While investors are trying to identify the next big frontier for services, they believe hidden in plain sight and underappreciated by most is the advertising opportunity within Apple’s fingertips.

According to a report by IDC, Apple has 51.3 per cent share in the Rs 35,000 and above price segment in the third quarter that ended on September 30. Also, Apple Watch dominated the market with 48 per cent global smartwatch market share, while Samsung held second place, followed by Fitbit clung.
