- Realme said it sold 1.5 million+ smartphones on Flipkart during sales
- Oneplus said it clocked Rs 500 crore revenue through Amazon in two days
BBK’s different brands strategy seems to be doing wonders for the China-based technology company. Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter and announced that Realme was the largest selling smartphone brand on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sales in India. Similarly, Oneplus India’s official Twitter handle also shared that the brand was able to earn revenues of Rs 500 crores during the sales period on Amazon India.

Oneplus on Amazon
BBK brands operating in India include Oneplus, Vivo, Oppo and Realme. The company has recently forayed into the premium TV space in India via its premium smartphone brand Oneplus. Oneplus had launched OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro in New Delhi during the last week of September 2019.
Amazon, on its official blog said that large appliances and TVs saw record sales over the first two days with almost 10X growth. Amazon’s official statement read, “Brands OnePlus, Samsung and Apple alone clocked together clocked over 750 crores in the first 36 hours.”
It is to be noted here that Oneplus had announced OnePlus TV 55Q1 Pro at a price of Rs 99,900. Similarly, OnePlus TV 55Q1 was annuned at prices of Rs 69,990. Oneplus has also launched Oneplus 7T smartphone in India.

Realme on Flipkart
Realme, seen as an affordable smartphone brand in India, said it sold more than 1.5 million devices on Flipkart. Madhav Sheth tweeted, “With 1.5 Million+ smartphones sold during The Big Billion Days on Flipkart, we continue to be the smartphones category leader. Guys, who have contributed to this milestone, RT & share the screenshot of the offer you have got and I will give Realme XT to a lucky user.”
Interestingly, Realme was also the leader in the smartphones category on Flipkart during June July and August 2019. The company said that the figures did not include the number of Realme Wireless Buds it had sold during the festive sales period.
