BBK’s Vivo Completes Five Years in India

China-based smartphone maker Vivo has completed five years in India. The company is planning to celebrate this benchmark with the customers.

It has announced various offers including cashback deals, no-cost EMI, exchange offers, free accessories and more. The offers are valid across Vivo V, S, and Y series.

Opportunity to purchase the best of Vivo products

Nipun Marya, director brand strategy, Vivo India, told ET telecom that with incredible offers, they are providing an opportunity to purchase the best of Vivo products at never seen before prices.

The company informed that the devices are available with up to 10 per cent cashback on HDFC and ICICI debit and credit cards along with no-cost EMI option with zero-down payment. Bajaj Finance Ltd customers can avail an extra 5 per cent cashback along with other offers. Customers will also get free BlueTooth earplugs or earphones or neckbands and assured buyback with select devices.

In August this year, Vivo had said that it planned to invest Rs 7,500 crore over the next few years to expand its production capacities in India. It also said that it has an aim of quadrupling quadruple its present local production capacity of 25 million phones a year, to more than 100 million devices, part of which could also be exported. Before this, the company had has already invested over Rs 400 crore into building manufacturing capacities in the country.
