- Realme is already in focus as the company is all set to launch Realme X2 Pro and Realme Wireless Youth Buds in India on November 20
Earlier this year, International Data Corporation (IDC) reported that Realme is the fastest-growing smartphone brand in India. Interestingly, the company turned heads as the CEO of this brand was ‘caught’ using the iPhone.
Realme is already in focus as the company is all set to launch Realme X2 Pro and Realme Wireless Youth Buds in India on November 20. They will be the company’s first wireless earphones. However, this time around, the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth created more buzz by using ‘Twitter for iPhone’. The tweet, which has now been deleted, shows a ‘Twitter for iPhone’ badge under it.
The clarification
After much questioning, Sheth tweeted, “Having used all the renowned flagship phones over the last few days. I can assure you that #realmeX2Pro is not just the #FastestChargingFlagship but also has many more category best features in the lot. #FasterSharperBolder.”

Not the first time
Well, this is not the first incident. There have been such bizarre instances. OnePlus brand ambassador Robert Downey Jr. was once caught using a Huawei phone.
Meanwhile, a Flipkart teaser has revealed that Realme will be launching Realme 5s alongside Realme X2 Pro in India on November 20. Also, Realme saw multifold growth YoY in 2Q19, driven by newly launched model C2 and 3/3Pro series.
The vendor was second in the online channel with 16.5 pr cent market share in 2Q19, along with ongoing efforts for expansion in the offline channel which accounted for 21.0 per cent of its shipments in 2Q19.
