According to a recent report by IANS, OnePlus has earned a record Rs 1,500 crore in gross merchandise value (GMV) worth of sales during the ongoing Diwali sales across platforms. The company saw commendable sales across both online and offline platforms.
The new launches
Recently, the company launched OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro. The OnePlus TV Q1 comes with a 55-inch 4K QLED screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The OnePlus TV Q1 Pro is equipped with a 55-inch QLED display with a 100Hz refresh rate and 90 local dimming zones.
Vikas Agarwal, general manager, OnePlus India, told IANS that they are humbled by the degree of enthusiasm their community members and customers across India have shown towards their new products.
According to research by Research and markets, Smart TV Market in India is expected to grow at a CAGR of 30.2 per cent from 2018 to 2024. Households in India are at a cusp of transition and a shift in preference has been witnessed from conventional TV sets to smart TV sets.
The company also recorded a revenue of Rs 700 crore during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale this year.
