Oppo has announced that ColorOS 7 custom user interface will go official in India on 26th November. The company recently announced that it will launch ColorOS 7 in China on November 20.
Improved gaming performance
As per the company, the new user interface might come with improved gaming performance. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth informed that Realme phones with ColorOS 7 will offer a near-to-stock Android experience, it’s unclear if the interface will bring the same feature to Oppo phones or if stock-ish Android is being developed exclusively for Realme.
Earlier this year, Oppo also upgraded the ColorOS limited public trial version based on Android 10 with the Reno phone receiving the first upgrade. The company said the pre-release trial version of the new update will cover India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand and will be available to limited people.
Oppo launched the ColorOS 6 last year in November and the new ColorOS 7 will be its successor. ColorOS comes with an updated user interface, Game Boost 2.0, short video, gaming, AI and security features, among others.
