Company’s CEO took to Twitter to make the announcement. Realme 3 is competing against the likes of Xiaomi Note 7 and Samsung M20 smartphones in India
Madhav Sheth, Realme CEO, India took to Twitter and posted a pic of the Realme 3 smartphone that claims that the company has sold five lakh Realme 3 smartphones. The post also claims that the phone has received an average rating of 4.5 stars. Sheth’s tweet read, “Feels great to see the realme family growing.”
Interestingly, Xiaomi had also made quite similar claims for its Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones in the past. Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global VP, on 12 March 2019, tweeted that Redmi Note 7 Pro had went out of stock within seconds on its first ever online sale in the country.
Realme 3 features
This latest smartphone from Realme was launched in two variants in India. The company has been projecting it as a device that is perfect for gaming and clicking photographs. One of Sheth’s tweets read, “The Realme 3 with Nightscape mode leads in low light photography at its price segment.”
It comes equipped with three slots for sim cards and one slot for external SD card. Realme 3 is powered by a 4230 mAh battery and is coupled with Helio P70 processor. Realme’s India website claims that its newly launched screen battery optimisation increases battery life by up to 10 per cent.
It features a dual camera setup on the rear. This camera setup consists of a 13 MP and a 2 MP lenses. Sheth tweeted, “No more editing needed, Chroma Boost mode on Realme 3 makes all your pictures social media worthy.”
The company has equipped it with a 13 MP camera sensor at front and a 6.22-inch (15.8cm) display screen. It also features fingerprint sensor and face unlock features.
