Through this partnership, Realme wants to cater to the consumers who have limited access to the online platform

Under the partnership, Realme smartphones will be available at Reliance Digital and My Jio stores in more than 130 cities across India.

The consumers, currently, buy smartphones of the company from e-commerce websites Amazon and Flipkart, depending on the exclusivity of the device. Presently, there are four smartphones sold by Realme in Indian market including the Realme C1, Realme 1, Realme 2, and Realme 2 Pro. While Realme 1 is exclusively available on Amazon, the Realme 2 Pro, Realme 2 and Realme C1 are Flipkart exclusives.

Speaking on the partnership, Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Realme India, said, “Realme as a young brand is committed to delivering a differentiated experience to its customers with products that deliver power and style. With the Reliance Digital and MyJio partnership, we are proud to have offline touch points for the first time, delivering the same experience and welcoming customers to the Realme family.”

“While the market responded well, we are expanding our sales channels to reach out to the growing demands which is a testimony to our approach ‘Realme for every Indian,” he added.

To reach offline consumers

Sheth further said, “Through this partnership, we want to cater to the audience who have limited access to the online platform and want to experience, compare and understand the features and benefits before making a purchase decision.”

In India, the smartphone manufacturer has adopted the approach of online first as the country is an emerging market for e-commerce portals. After getting an overwhelming response for its products online, the company wants to expand its sales channels in reaching out to more customers.
